Wednesday was the Ellie's first field trip as a Kindergartner! She was so excited. It was a cool day, which I was disappointed about at first but it turned out to be fantabulous to see the animals. They were all out and happy!
Sooo has some darling girls in her class. Some were her friends before school started and she has made a couple new ones.
While we were looking at the Orangutans the girls stepped on the bottom rung of the fence. Chanel was wearing flip flops which got caught and fell into the orangutans cage. We told the zoo keepers who came with a basket tied to a rope and a container of peanuts. We were confused. They shook the container which made the orangutans come alive. The big daddy came right over and picked up the flip flop, smelled it, shook it and tasted it. He put it in the basket and waited for his reward. You have to see it to believe it! I have a video and I will figure out how to post it!
